"Kolossus Records’ new EP release Sanctuary is simply beautiful. With visually stunning artwork by Elyn Kazarian and absolutely magnificent music, you'll find yourself unable to stop listening to it.

The opening track, titled “Occupe”, sets the tone of the EP with its airy, delicate vocals and haunting sounds while the second track “Anastasia” serenades your ears with a romantic vibe reminiscent of throwback old-school love songs. “VibeDealer5000” has definitely earned it’s name by delivering one of the sleekest tracks of the entire EP. The collaboration between KAZNYK and Rilla Force on this track is an obviously fruitful one because it brings the entire EP together. “Ruby Suns” by Rilla Force is arguably one of Sanctuary’s most stand out tracks. The nostalgic vocals (sampled from Ruby Suns’ song “Heart Attack”) blend perfectly with Rilla Force’s velvety textures thus creating a melodic song that is wholly unique. “Y $ L”, the fifth and final track is a bit more upbeat than the previous songs but still keeps amidst the transcendent vibe of the EP.

The EP also contains a bonus track titled, “Emperor of Nowhere" with vocals that take your ears by a storm and demands your complete attention; the complimentary sounds are stellarly blended and polished with smooth transitions.

Kolossus Records’ artist and affiliate Rilla Force and KAZNYK have outdone themselves with this release (which is *ahem* still on repeat) and it really showcases the dexterity of the label with everything from the song choices to the unquestionably imaginative and eccentric EP cover art by Elyn Kazarian. This EP really sets the bar for future releases."
